The Canada 150 Fund provides grants to allow community organizations to celebrate the nation’s history and heritage. Since the Petawawa Heritage Village plans to go all out this year for Canada’s sesquicentennial anniversary, they received a $16,300 federal grant. The money provided by the government will help augment their Settler Festival on Aug. 11, 12 and 13.
