Every year, the Petawawa Military Family Resource Centre (PMFRC) shows gratitude to their local partners by presenting the Community Partner Award during the Annual General Meeting. The award’s recipient is chosen by staff members, and approved by the Board of Directors. It is given to an organization that has shown itself a true champion for military families. For their dedication with the PMFRC’s Before and After School program, the Renfrew County District School Board (RCDSB) and the Renfrew County Catholic District School Board (RCCDSB) received this award. Both organizations allowed this program to be seamlessly integrated into several of their schools, supporting military families with their childcare needs.
