Hinduja Global Solutions (HGS) Pembroke made a $1,000 donation to the Upper Ottawa River Race and Paddle Festival. The money will be used to feed the participants on Aug. 12, and staff at HGS will be helping serve the meal. Since the festival’s start three years ago, HGS has been a proud supporter. The three-day event will begin on Aug. 11 and celebrates active outdoor lifestyles by hosting a film festival, races and casual canoe, kayak and stand-up (SUP) paddling as well as kid activities, vendors, live music, food and more. HGS Recruiter Sabrina Donnelly presented the cheque to the organizers on July 7.
