The Garrison Petawawa command team invited community stakeholders to partake in a friendly golf tournament on June 7. Some of these stakeholders included nearby mayors, members of the Royal Canadian Legion and the Ontario Provincial Police. This event served to further tighten the bonds between the garrison and the community, showcasing the strong relationships already forged as well as demonstrate the numerous benefits they can bring to each other. This is the second year this tournament has taken place, and the plan is to continue to hold the event each Spring. A similar golf tournament is also held in the Fall for stakeholders and members of the business community.
