Residents will soon be able to partake in a bounty of free fresh herbs, courtesy of the Petawawa Public Library Community Garden. Back by popular demand, six different herbs have been recently planted in front of the library. Once they are ready to pick on July 1, the community will be invited to try them out. Handpicked books containing recipes on the herbs will also be available throughout the summer, encouraging people to break out of their culinary routine and try something new.
