At this time I want to thank everyone for their support and comfort to me and my family at the loss of my sister Isabella Demers.

Well today was a day I could get out and about a bit - that flu finally caught up to me. Oh yes I am happy to say I passed that drivers test when you turn 80 and over. Who said 80 was old? I don’t feel any older than I did yesterday.

Well now, here is a bit of news from the Greater Petawawa Civitan Club. Once again we invite all newcomers to Petawawa and the area to come to our Bingo that is held every Sunday night at the Civic Centre in Petawawa. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. early bird games start at 6:30 p.m. and regular games start at 7 p.m.

Just a reminder: the Greater Petawawa Civitan Club members will be selling raffle tickets for three paintings, painted by local artists. Tickets are $2 each or three for $5. The proceeds from the raffle will go towards helping make the Civitan playground more accessible so everyone can enjoy time at the playground. Three tickets will be picked and each winner will receive one of the three paintings. The draw will take place on April 1 at the Petawawa Civic Centre during the Sunday night Civitan Bingo. Our sellers will have a poster so you can see what the paintings look like. If you would like more information about this draw, you may call Civitan Marie Arnold at 613-687-8463 or see her at the Petawawa Civitan Bingo Sunday night.

I hope to see you all at our next Sunday night Bingo. Bring a friend with you and enjoy a night of Bingo and fun.

That’s all for now, God bless and be happy.
