Coming up on Sunday, March 31 the Ladies Auxiliary is holding a full roast beef or chicken dinner which includes your salad, dessert and tea/coffee. Dinner is served from 4:30-6 p.m. Cost is $15 for adults and $10 for under 10. Everyone is welcome so bring the family.

The following Sunday, April 7 the regular monthly breakfast is being held from 9:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. Eggs your way, bacon or sausage, toast, home fries, beans, juice and tea/coffee. We also do pancakes and cheese and onion omelettes. $7 for adults and $4 for under 10. Open to all. Our hall is accessible so no barriers for everyone to come out.

The Legion was built by Veterans as a place to socialize with your fellow comrades and provide support for those who where in need. Much remains in place but membership has expanded to include any person who wants to support our Veterans. We still have our mandate to ensure all Veterans get the help and support they need. Locally, at branch level, we run our Poppy Campaign that is used to help those Vets in our area and in purchasing medical devices that also aid them. The Legion can only survive if we continue to have the membership to carry out our purpose of supporting and honouring our Veterans.

Youth is our future and that is why we sponsor Remembrance poster and literary contests, Public speaking, and Youth Track and Field. Our Bursary program is in place to help children/grandchildren of Veterans with their education. A $750 bursary can be applied for. Forms can be obtained online at the Ontario Command Legion website or at the downstairs bar.

Join us on Friday nights from 4:30-6 p.m. for fish, wings or chicken strips with fries and or onion rings. Open to all. Also enjoy soup and sandwich Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
