Festubert Blvd closure and detour information
Beginning 19 Apr 22, the ‘s-curve’ on Festubert Boulevard, at the entrance to the non-operational side of Garrison Petawawa, will be closed to traffic while the road is being resurfaced. Construction crews will also recommence work further along Festubert Boulevard, completing work on resurfacing and reclamation that began in the summer of 2021.

Well here I am once again with just bit of news from The Greater Petawawa Civitan Club. The Greater Petawawa Civitan Club wants to let everyone know that we are back full force. The last two years have been hard for our club to raise money and I am sad to say we have lost a few of our Bingo players, some to Covid and others just to old age, as they say. They will all be missed, most were friends, too.

After two years of Covid cancellations, Maple Weekend is back April 2 and 3, 2022
The Ontario Maple Syrup Producers’ Association is excited to announce that after two years of cancellations due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the province will once again be showcasing a new crop of maple syrup during the annual Maple Weekend, April 2 to 3, 2022. This year’s event will be a welcome opportunity to get out to a sugarbush and see how maple syrup is produced from tree to table.
