This year’s Tim Hortons annual Smile Cookie campaign has a big goal of raising $10,000 in Petawawa, to be collected between the restaurant in town and the location at Garrison Petawawa. The 2019 campaign raised over $6,500, and the proceeds benefited the Petawawa Military Family Resource Centre (PMFRC). General Manager Rosalie Bryan-Sack plans to surpass that this year and help the PMFRC once more. On Sept. 14, the first day of the week-long campaign, Bryan-Sack’s team had already baked 600 cookies after just a few hours with plans to make another similar batch to satisfy people’s sweet tooth. From left, Lieutenant-Colonel (LCol) Iain Clark, 4th Canadian Division Support Base Petawawa Personnel Services Commanding Officer, Rosalie Bryan-Sack and PMFRC Executive Director Claudia Beswick hold up a box of Smile Cookies in front of the Tim Hortons restaurant on Garrison Petawawa.
