PEMBROKE - The City of Pembroke’s Diversity Advisory Committee will be hosting a community town hall on October 6 at 5:30 p.m. at the Riverwalk Amphitheatre at Pembroke’s Waterfront Park to present the findings from the diversity, equity, and inclusion survey and roundtable that were held earlier in 2021. A question and answer session will follow the presentation.

Community stakeholders have been invited to attend and this event is open to the public. Space can be reserved online via Eventbrite or pembroke.ca.

Attendees are welcome to view the public material provided by the committee online at pembroke.ca prior to the town hall. If attendees have questions in advance based on the materials, they are encouraged to email diversity@pembroke.ca before Wednesday, September 29 to ensure the fullest and most accurate details can be provided to them in an answer at the town hall.

A virtual option to watch the town hall will be made available and can be found closer to the event date on pembroke.ca.

COVID-19 protocols will be in place. Attendees are reminded to check in at the main table upon arrival and that masks must be worn if you are seated within six feet/two metres of a person from outside your household.

The Diversity Advisory Committee looks forward to sharing this informative evening as it continues to work towards making Pembroke a more inclusive community for all.
