450 Tactical Helicopter Squadron Honours and Awards

By 450 THS

Posted on Thursday July 23rd, 2020

450 Tactical Helicopter Squadron (THS) wishes to recognize the following members for their sacrifices, dedication and achievements within 450 THS and the Canadian Armed Forces. Several honours and awards ceremonies were held at the Squadron in June in order to recognize deserving members while respecting COVID-19 restrictions.

On June 17th 2020, Warrant Officer David Brewer received a Chief of Defense Staff commendation for his efforts while deployed with Task Force Mali from July 2018 to January 2019. Warrant Officer Brewer was the Aviation Battalion CH-147F senior aircraft maintenance superintendent. His efforts contributed significantly to establishing the Task Force’s credibility with United Nation partners, bringing great credit to himself and the Canadian Armed Forces.

450 THS would also like to recognize their civilian cleaning staff, Mary Rowe, Kathy McGillis and Darlene Mills, for their diligence and dedication in keeping the unit clean and safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. From all of the personnel at 450 THS, thank you.

Congratulations goes out to all Vikings who received a coin, were promoted and/or presented with medals!
