News from the Petawawa Catholic Women’s League
The Petawawa CWL members and parishioners will be interested and pleased to know that, in spite of the COVID pandemic, we successfully collected 25 complete baby layettes of newborn items. These baby layettes will be presented to the Pembroke Regional Hospital maternity floor. Besides the diapers, onesies, pajamas, blankets, sweaters, hats, etc., we were able to include some beautiful hand-made articles in each bag.

County of Renfrew Asking Residents to Weigh In on RC VTAC Experience
Pembroke: In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Renfrew County Virtual Triage and Assessment Centre (RC VTAC) was launched on March 27, 2020 to support COVID-19 swabbing while ensuring that our hospital emergency rooms did not become overwhelmed. At the same time, RC VTAC started playing an important role providing access to urgent primary care for all Renfrew County and area residents.
