The 2642 – 3 RCR Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps held a car wash and tagging fundraiser on Sept. 30 in Petawawa and in Deep River with the hopes of raising as much money as possible. Though it was all by donation, people were exceedingly generous and organizers are confident that the cadets will be able to procure the table and chairs they were aiming for. Though many of the cadet activities are paid for, if they want to partake in outings or purchase additional equipment, it comes out of their own pocket. This is why events like the car wash are so important to the corps.
