The winners of the Friday evening Euchre games were: Marie Arnold, Lou McEvoy, John Collier, Helen Sack, Pat Mathewson. Regular Euchre is played every Friday evening at 7 p.m., grab some friends and come out for a game of fun.

Laurie Courchesne-Dooley of Maestro LifeStyles, an Ontario based Senior Living and LifeStyles referral agency will be giving an informative and educational talk at the club on Nov. 9 at 1 p.m. With its head office located in Pembroke, Maestro LifeStyles offers search assistance to those seniors and their loved ones in need of services and products that support the ever changing needs of seniors in our community.

As the LifeStyles Associate here in Renfrew County, Laurie will share insights into Retirement Community Living, Home Care Services as well as support services available to help you achieve the desired lifestyle for you or your loved one.

Laurie will share with you the Maestro LifeStyles process of offering professional and personalized search assistance absolutely FREE to Seniors and their loved ones in need.

A free lunch and learn will be held at the Seniors Drop In Centre in Pembroke on Wednesday, Oct. 11, starting at noon. You must pre-register no later than Friday, Oct. 6.

Tickets are on sale for the Dinner/Dance in October and you can get your tickets at the office. We will enjoy a delicious dinner catered by Schmidt’s and music by Bob Landry and Bob Madill. We will have a door prize, 50/50 draw and a raffle basket.

Fitness will begin on Monday. Oct. 2 at 10 a.m., and will continue on Wednesday and Friday at the same time. So get your runners ready for another session with Debbie three times a week.

All other activities are back as per usual, so check out the web site or come in and pick up an activity sheet.

Bring in your grocery store stamped receipts from the Hyska’s Your Independent Grocer in Petawawa and place them in the box provided.

We are enjoying some nice weather, so get out into the community and have fun. I will see you at the Club!
